Categories
The General assembly of Action for Teens is composed of two categories of members: effective members and associated members.
Members are natural persons or legal entities created in respect with the law and legislation of their country of origin. The Association is composed of two categories of members: effective members and associated members. At the office of General secretariat of Action for Teens in Brussels, a register is held with the list of members. Both categories of members commit to respecting the law and legislation of their country of origin, the Belgian law and legislation, the Articles of Association, the Rules of Order, the decisions of the General assembly and the founding charter.
Admission procedure
Candidate members address their candidature to the General secretariat with the necessary documents attesting that they answer the requirements described in the Articles of Association.
The General secretariat submits the candidature for effective members to the General assembly that votes with a majority of 2/3 and submits the candidature for associated members to the Board of directors that votes with a majority of 2/3. The refusal of a candidate member is without appeal and doesn't need to be motivated.
Conditions for admission:
You can become a (associated) member if you're active in the management of one or more structures or institutions specialized in (or working in the field of) the care of adolescents with psychological problems;
Effective members: - be a natural person, a non-profit organization, an international non-profit organization, a private foundation of public utility, active in the management of one or more structures or institutions specialized in the care of adolescents with psychological problems; - have their headquarters or official address in a member state of the European Union of the European Economic Area - subscribe without reserve the mission, object and founding charter of the Association - pay the membership fee
Associated members: - be a natural person, a non-profit organization, an international non-profit organization, a private foundation of public utility, or any other non-profit legal entity working in the field (albeit not exclusively) of care for adolescents with psychological problems; - subscribe without reserve the mission, object and founding charter of the Association - pay the membership fee
